Istanbul is considered to be the largest city of Turkey and extends both on the European and the Asian sides of Bosporus. Thus, it is said to be the only metropolis in the world that is situated on two continents. Istanbul is also considered as the financial hub of Turkey and is also culturally and economically well developed.

Istanbul Archaeological Museum
This extraordinary museum is situated in the Eminonu district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is basically an accumulation of three archeological museums- Archeological Museum, Museum of the Ancient Orient and Museum of Islamic Art. It displays a wide range of Roman, Turkish and Hellenistic artifacts.

The Bosphorus
The Bosphorus is a strait that joins Sea of Marmara with the Black Sea and separates the continents of Europe and Asia. Its length is of about thirty-two kilometers. You can hire a ferry for a ride or you may even explore the European shore. There are also several restaurants as well as snack bars on the shore.

Cemberlitas Hamam
Cemberlitas Hamam is located on the Cemberlitas Square on Divanyolu Street and is basically a historical spot for Turkish Baths. It was built by Mimar Sinan in the year 1584.

Topkapi Palace
This magnificent palace was the residence of the Ottoman Sultans for around four-hundred years. It contains many Muslim archeological remains including the Prophet Muhammad’s cloak and sword. The palace comprises of four major courtyards and several minor ones. It displays a wide range of Ottoman jewels, sculptures, Islamic Calligraphic Manuscripts and weapons.

Egyptian Bazaar
It is located at the southern end of the Galata Bridge near the Eminonu ferry docks. This market place contains a variety of spices, dried fruits, nuts and many other edible items.

Hagia Sophia Museum
It is a mosque, considered the epitome of Byzantine architecture. Its interior has a marvelous display of 30 million gold tiles. It was a mosque from 29 May 1453 until 1931, when it was secularized. Being constructed in the 6th century, it has a flat dome.
